Gucci Mane lashes out at Nicki Minaj for changing with the fame.
Gucci Mane has already spoken out against Young Jeezy and Yung Joc, and he’s adding a few more names to the list. During an interview with Hot 107.9, the Southern rapper said that Nicki Minaj ”know she ain’t keep it real” after he helped her build her name as an artist and then lose touch with those who were with her from the start of her career.
“When she came to Atlanta she gave me a shout out, said I helped her in her career, but at the end of the day I just think a lot of times you keep it real with somebody, you can’t expect them to keep it real with you,” he said. “I told you man this industry, people want to be famous, people forget how to keep it real and forget the people that helped them get to where they at. As soon as the money start coming in… I tip my hat to Nicki for being hard worker, but at the same time, she know she ain’t keep it real.”
He also turned his attention to French Montana, stating that he took a similar approach once he started drawing more attention. ”French Montana know he ain’t keep it real,” he said. “My thing is, I ain’t going out of my way to even tell somebody they ain’t real or they fake or they’re lame. That’s got nothing to do with me. When it start spilling into my business and to my affairs, I’m a vocal person, I usually speak on them.
Game is hoping to get Nicki Minaj on a track for his upcoming album “Jesus Piece.”
Game most recently unveiled the controversial cover art for his upcoming album Jesus Piece, and he’s planning on ruffling feathers with the LP’s content. During an interview with Rap-Up.com, Jayceon Taylor spoke on a cut he has with Trey Songz for which he’s hoping to get aNicki Minaj verse. On the cut, he talks about walking out of the back door of a church and immediately hitting up a strip club.
"Nicki, she hasn’t done it yet. I sent it to her. It’s a song with me and Trey on it, and I figure like let me reach for Nicki and we got in touch and she said she’ll kill it, but she’s doing major work making major money," he said. "But she’ll get to it. But the song’s going to be dope, man. It’s basically about walking out of church. It’s basically like, walking out of the back door of the church and falling into the front door of a strip club."
The West Coast rapper talked about trying to balance his religion with his nature. The struggle comes across on the song, and Game’s already anticipating backlash from the song.
"I want to get the word and I want my belief to be in God, but at the same time, I want to see that ass clap. I don’t even know if that’s blasphemy or something like that, but a lot of poeple are going to be happy about the album, there’s going to be some people who are a little angry about it. But when have I not made people mad?"
Nicki Minaj dismisses Mariah Carey’s claims that if she had a gun, she would shoot her.
On “The View” earlier today, Barbara Walters said that she called Carey before the program. Carey said that multiple people heard Minaj when she walked off theAI set say, “If I had a gun, I would shoot the bitch.” Carey has since hired extra security and said she feels “emotionally uncomfortable.”
Breaking her silence on the matter, the Harajuku Barbie took to Twitter to speak on the feud, stating that Carey is making herself out to be a victim and that “insecurity” is what prompted Carey to say that Minaj threatened her with a gun.
"Hey yAll. Lets just say nicki said smthn about a gun. ppl will believe it cuz she’s a black rapper. Lmao. I’ll then hit up Barbara n milk it," she wrote. "Ironically no camera or mic heard the gun comment tho. Lol @ the struggle. Not even the producers believed u. Say no to violence barbz. Y~oe"
She ended her rant by stating that she thought the issue had been resolved yesterday, but that it apparently hasn’t. “I guess it hurts 2 have the producers tell u to ur face that nicki is the best judge we’ve had since simon. Awww, poor u. Keep them lies cmn.”

A Dallas club claims Nicki Minaj missed a $30,000 club appearance while she says promoters sold tickets under “false pretenses.”
While in Dallas, Texas, Nicki Minaj wrapped up a stop of her tour. She also tweeted to fans that there would be no after party. However, according to Zouk nightclub, the Young Money emcee missed her appearance after being paid $30,000 to attend.
“From my understanding, she was outside, she had shown up, her security had done a walk through and she just decided not to come in,” Zouk’s Matt Cislo told theCW affiliate in Dallas.
According to Zouk, they received copies of the money transfer and contract from an outside promoter and Pink Personality LLC, said to be Minaj’s group.
“We looked at their contracts, the wire transfer, we had seen everything; that’s why we went through with the show,” Cislo added.
On Sunday, Minaj also tweeted a shout out to the promoters who sold tickets under false pretenses.
However, Cislo claims that the agreement was made and says the incident has given his club a negative reputation.
“As soon as everyone found out she wasn’t showing up on Twitter they were messaging us, text message, emails, you know why are you putting on a fake show? Just gives us a bad rep,” Cislo explained.
The club will refund fans who purchased tickets to see Minaj make her appearance.

Birdman explains that he wants to cross genre lines. Birdman has high hopes for 2012. During an interview with XXLMag.com, the Cash Money Records CEO revealed that he’s looking to release 16 albums of different genres on YMCMB this year, including full-length LPs from Nicki Minaj, Bow Wow, Lil Twist and Limp Bizkit. “I think bringing Fred and Limp Bizkit to the team gives us a different look,” he said. “We dominate rap, but we’re also trying to grow in different areas; Pop, rock, gospel, country.” Baby emphasized his vision to expand Cash Money beyond Hip Hop boundaries. He recently revealedplans to for Limp Bizkit on the imprint, a move that puts them in rock territory. “We’re a brand and we don’t want to be categorized as one type of brand,” he said. “I think we’re a machine and we activate and were active as a machine. I thought this Limp Bizkit move would be big for us as a brand and a machine.”
Lil Wayne fired shots at Jay-Z during a pre-Grammy party, while Nicki Minaj dropped the ball at the 2012 Grammy Awards. Lil’ Kim took the opportunity to attack the Harajuku Barbie. This week, Lil Wayne reignited his beef with Jay-Z during the Cash Money pre-Grammy party, gracing the mic to attack his frienemy with some bars. Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj didn’t fare so well at the 2012 Grammy Awards, performing her new single "Roman Holiday" but facing criticism for its sacrilegious content and wacky concept. She later defended her actions, stating that she didn’t know “what the big issue” was. Lil’ Kim took the opportunity to release her new single "If You Love Me," appearing on a Bravo talk show to take down the Harajuku Barbie. Lil Wayne Reignites Beef With Jay-Z At Pre-Grammy Awards Party Before the Grammy Awards, Lil Wayne appeared at the Cash Money pre-party, hopping on the mic to spit a few new bars for the crowd. During his freestyle, he decided to reignite his feud with Jay-Z, addressing his “Baby money” line from “H.A.M.” “I met a bad red bone, I took the bitch home / I asked her what she want to watch, she said surely not The Throne,” he rapped, referring to Hov’s project with Kanye West. Jay is yet to respond, but the sweetest revenge? Winning the Grammy for Best Rap Performance for “Otis,” and not even being in attendance to accept the award.
During the 2012 Grammy Awards, Nicki Minaj channeled her alter ego Roman Zolanski for her debut performance of “Roman Holiday,” packed with religious imagery of exorcism, priests and confessional.Responding to the criticism, which included attacks from the Catholic League, the Young Money rapstress dismissed the hate, stating that she wanted her character to “be sort of exorcised” and that it was her “creative craziness.” She later addressed the critiques more directly, stating, “I don’t know what is the big issue?” and explaining that the performance was a small part of a movie she’s creating.
In contrast to her foe Nicki Minaj, Lil’ Kim had a relatively solid week, releasing her new song “If You Love Me” in honor of Valentine’s Day. To promote the single, Kimmy Blanco appeared on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens,” using the press opportunity to attack the rap Hannah Montana with some shady insults. During the chat, she referred to Nicki as “Fire Marshall Bill,” a “Stupid Hoe” and overrated. Nicki is yet to respond to the verbal barbs, but with her performance at the Grammys drawing such criticism, it probably isn’t the best time.
